Perform at ShastaYama with Taiko Trek Instructors

Selected attendees will have the opportunity to perform at ShastaYama 2016 with the aforementioned instructors of Taiko Trek. It will be a debut performance of an original piece, which will be arranged and rehearsed during the camp. Limited capacity for number of performers and minimum 2 years performing experience is required for selected attendees. No additional charge for performing at ShastaYama. Please note that lodging at Mt. Shasta is not included.

Russel Baba and Jeanne Mercer continue to pioneer new directions for music combining taiko, winds, and bass in the jazz improvisational tradition.

Mount Shasta's Shasta Taiko will share the stage with these outstanding guest artists in a celebration of taiko, dance, and music.
